The City of Statesboro, Georgia invites the submission of sealed bids for a construction project known as the

City of Statesboro Fire Department Training Building.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Statesboro’s Purchasing Division until 3:00 PM, local time, on Monday, July 22, 2024.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after bid closing time in the Municipal Courtroom located at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.

PROJECT LIMITS AND OVERVIEW

This project will consist of construction of a 40x40x16 metal building with a roof extension. All other elements of a typical construction project will be included (plumbing, electrical, drywall, septic, etc.).

PRE-BID CONFERENCE

A required pre-bid conference for this project will be held at 10:00 AM local time, on Thursday, July 11, 2024 located at the City/County Public Safety Training Center site with an address of 39 Holland Industries Park, Statesboro, GA 30458. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the required pre-bid conference.  Project scheduling, coordination, and questions of interpretation will be addressed at this time.

(South Main Street – South Zetterower Avenue)

The City of Statesboro, Georgia invites the submission of sealed bids for a construction project known as Bid Project #2024-ENG-122h also titled East Jones Avenue Sidewalk project from qualified contractors.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Statesboro’s Purchasing Division until 3:00 PM, local time, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after bid closing time in the Municipal Courtroom located at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.

PROJECT LIMITS AND OVERVIEW

This project will consist of constructing a 5′ ADA sidewalk from South Main Street to South Zetterower Avenue.  This project will include any drainage infrastructure, easements, and property acquisition needed to install the sidewalk.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The WORK will include but is not limited to the following: clearing, excavating, setting grade, concrete forming, traffic, erosion control, grassing and dressing up of construction site.

RFQ/RFP# 2024 ENG-122j: Right-of-Way (ROW) Acquisition Services

The City of Statesboro (City) is issuing this Request for Qualifications/Proposal (RFQ/RFP) seeking qualified firms for Right of Way (ROW) Acquisition services for a City sidewalk project along.  Acquisition services in this RFP includes ROW Acquisition, Appraisals, and Negotiate through Closing.

The City has adopted the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Procurement Policy For The Procurement, Management and Administration of Engineering and Design Related Consultant Services.  The City is applying this policy and will abide by the policy for all local, state and federally funded transportation projects as it pertains to local governments.

The City of Statesboro is requesting sealed bids for the replacement of sidewalk and driveways within city limits titled ITB 2024 STS-31: Sidewalk Repairs from qualified contractors.

Sealed bids must be sent to the City of Statesboro’s Purchasing Division until 3:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after bid closing time in the Municipal Courtroom located at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.

Invitation to Bid (ITB)

ITB 2024 ENG-128: City of Statesboro Street Resurfacing FY 2024

The City of Statesboro is seeking bids with statements of work from qualified firms who are GDOT Pre-Qualified Contractors for plant mix resurfacing services on roads within the City of Statesboro to perform work under the contract named “City of Statesboro Street Resurfacing FY 2024”.  The work in this contract includes asphalt resurfacing of approximately 5.12 miles of city streets and 20,665 square yards of asphalt milling and 2,375 square yards of 6-inch GAB as well as permanent grassing, shoulder dressing, and the installation of thermoplastic striping.

Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Central Services’ Purchasing Division at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia, 30458 (Attention: Darren Prather, Director of Central Services) until 3:30 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Statesboro Municipal Court Room.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Statesboro is seeking general contractors for the rehabilitation of six (6) homes funded under the City’s Housing Rehabilitation Program. The bidder must be licensed as a Georgia General Contractor if the individual unit bid is greater than $2,500. Contracts will be awarded based on a competitive bidding process.

A non-mandatory contractors’ meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Statesboro Municipal Court Building, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA. A copy of the bid package may be obtained at the contractors’ meeting or by emailing bids@insight-pd.com. There is no charge for receiving bid packages. Driveway/Retaining Wall Improvements

The City of Statesboro is requesting proposals for improvements to the main driveway and

adjacent retaining wall located at the Statesboro Fire Department located at 24 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. Improvements will include the replacement of the current concreate driveway and the establishment of improved drainage of all areas involved in this immediate area including the retaining wall.

This project will be conducted under a designed/build process with the contactor taking this into

consideration with their proposal submittal. All submittals will be evaluated on a weighted criteria basis. Please be sure to provide all required information and documents in your sealed

proposal.

Sealed proposals shall be submitted by the deadline of April, 3, 2024 at 3PM EST. Sealed proposals shall be turned into the City of Statesboro Central Services Department located at 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458 or mailed to PO Box 348, Statesboro, GA 30459.  Any questions are to be sent to bidinfo@statesboroga.gov. All answers will be provided to all participating contractors.
