GOOGLE MAPS TRIP PLANNER
Statesboro Area Transit passengers can now plan their bus trip via Google Maps! Get step-by-step transit directions in your web browser or on your mobile phone (download Google maps for your phone at m.google.com/maps) and enter the specifics of your trip. Enter your origin and final destination addresses, the time you’re likely to leave/arrive, and the day of your trip. Information will display which tells you how to get from point A to point B via Statesboro Area Transit including any walking and transferring between buses. We hope that our passengers enjoy this new feature from SAT.
THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN USING GOOGLE MAPS…
Please click the “Show options” link underneath the your entered destination in Google Maps and choose PREFER “Less Walking” instead of “Best Route” within the drop down boxes. This will allow a more direct route via bus than the “Best Route” option. “Best Route” is not necessarily the “most direct route” for transit trips.
Reservations
Statesboro Area Transit offers riders the option to schedule a pickup from their desired location with 24 hours notice. The pickup location must be within ¼ mile of the set Blue and Red routes.

Minors aged 14-18 may ride without a parent or guardian but must have a signed parental waiver. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Child car seats are also required for children who need them. Full fare rates apply to minors and children.
