The City of Statesboro has partnered with the Coastal Regional Commission to update its Strategic Plan. Unlike a Comprehensive Plan, which is a guiding tool for zoning and development processes over an extended term, the Strategic Plan is a specific tool that guides major projects and priorities in the near term. The City completed its last Strategic Plan in 2018 and has made substantial progress in accomplishing the goals set in that plan. The updated 2025 – 2030 plan will create a roadmap for the next five years.

By engaging City officials, staff, and residents, we’re able to identify new objectives and initiatives that match what our residents and employees think is important. In order to update the Strategic Plan, we need your help. Please consider taking the survey HERE to share your thoughts.
