Tax & License Office

The Tax & License Office, part of the City Clerk's Department, serves both Statesboro property owners and local businesses. We bill and collect City property taxes, and we're here to answer questions about your tax bill, payment options, and due dates. For businesses, we issue Occupational Tax Certificates (business licenses), alcohol licenses, special event permits and more.
